About
Hello, I鈥檓 Troy Kelly Jr - a PhD researcher in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida, originally from the Bahamas.
My research spans two interconnected areas: sports biomechanics, exploring human movement and athletic performance; and osteoarthritis, where I use force analysis, motion capture, EMG, and quantitative sensory testing to better understand pain and its relationship to musculoskeletal function. Underlying both areas is a passion for health disparities research and a commitment to studying underrepresented and understudied populations.
Beyond research, I鈥檓 building toward a future that includes multiple business ventures, a foundation dedicated to STEM education in the Caribbean, and a personal investment portfolio - all grounded in a faith-centered, community-first mindset.
This site is a living portfolio of my research, projects, and journey.
